Why do some strains grow faster than others?

Historically black market growers needed strains that would rapidly produce great yields so that they could optimise their production. This has led to the development of many fast growing strains that were bred so that they would grow and produce flowers faster than usual. The strains below were genetically designed to ensure a quick turnover and a good yield.

Many people ask if there is a difference between sativas and indicas? Sativas often take a bit more time than indicas to flower but we didn’t want to make this an indica only list so we dug around to find some fast growing sativa strains.

Quick Mass is an all time favorite for growers looking to grow a lot of weed in a short time. It can flower in just 6 weeks but you don’t have to sacrifice your yield for a quick grow. Quick Mass has been improved in bud density so it grows compactly. It’s often recommended to use the Sea of Green technique (SoG) if you really want to maximize your yield.
